Having left Obsidian Orbital behind me, I started to explore Pleiades Sector JC-U B3-2. I had never landed on a planet before, so had to figure it out. I’ve been told to ‘learn by doing’ many times, but while flying my brand-new Anaconda? I’m not even sure Commander Jameson would have done this…

I did manage to figure it out without doing too much damage, eventually landing on the planet mentioned in transmissions. Unfortunately though, all I could find initially were various crash sites and small settlements.

Eventually I did spot a number of other ships coming and going from a crash site, that led me down to an Anaconda buried nose-down in the surface of the planet. Just 1.5km away, I found the ‘Alien’ site everyone had been talking about.

The first thing I noticed is that it looks similar to one of the ancient Earth henges with upright standing objects seemingly pointing up towards the surrounding stars. I wondered if it might be a constellation recognized by the alien race who built or use it.

I then noticed what the other two pilots on-site were doing, and it seems they were intent to cause damage to the object. This is a huge shame because we do not yet understand what this is.

There are some really strange sounds coming out of this thing depending on where you are or what you happen to be looking at. It sounds very similar to pre-birth sounds, similar to what you might hear using a fetal doppler. I just hope we haven’t been attacking and destroying some kind of Alien nursery…
