Once I finished with the disappointing Eagle Nebula, I headed straight up and away from the galactic plane, initially intending to head home by what would be an unexplored route. But after seeing how close I ended up to the Traikaae AA-A H2 Nebula, I figured, why not?
Frankly, this Nebula restored my faith in my journey as a whole. It was stunning.
Being so far above the galactic plane was also quite a sight, with relative blackness above and a dirty, dusty mass of stars below me.
After this? I’m heading home. Overall I have really enjoyed the experience exploring some sights that I truly feel better off for seeing. Now I can happily spend some time in populated space and know at least some of what lurks out there in deeper space.
